Tolyattiazot is going to increase its carbamide production by 2.5 times to 2.53 million tons per year by 2025. This was said in an announcement of the Company. Tolyattiazot is going to achieve such figure through its ongoing program of upgrading its two operating carbamide production units with a total output of more than RUB 47.5 billion. Furthermore, the commissioning of the third unit with a capacity of 2.2 thousand tons per day is scheduled for 2021, the announcement said. The company also expects to construct the fourth similar unit.

28 Августа 2017Today, Togliattiazot is among the top three ammonia producers in the country and among the top ten global leaders. It is the only chemical plant in the world that is capable of producing 3 million tons of ammonia and using it as feedstock right on the spot to produce mineral fertilizers for agricultural purposes. Overall, the plant’s ammonia production accounts for nearly 20% in Russia and around 10% in the world. Moreover, ammonia is exported to 120 countries on 5 continents. Continuity of supplies is ensured with TOAZ’s own railway yard and access to the unique Togliatti–Odessa ammonia line which runs for over 2,000 km.
